Sooner Group Marketing and Management was founded in 2013 on the premise that Marketing and management is about getting people to take action. We believe that marketing is about helping an audience get connected with people, products , or services. Michael Friedman brings over 29 years of marketing and management experience to his clients and community partners. His career experience has included theatrical exhibition, banking sales and service, retail management, direct sales, property management, and more. Michael earned his Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma, and holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix. He is a long time resident of Norman, OK. Outside Activities
Michael has a strong desire to serve others. He currently owns and operates 3 companies including: I-Drive, Redbud Counseling, and Sooner Group Marketing and Management. Michael currently serves as the president of the Campus Corner Association in Norman, Oklahoma which is a go to destination for University of Oklahoma students and faculty. His past community involvement includes the Kiwanis Club of Norman (serving as Immediate Past President and Division 30 Lt. Governor), BNI Referral Makers, Kiwanis Advisory Council to Children's Miracle Network of Oklahoma, the Norman Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and ambassadors committee, NormanNext Board of Directors and Government Relations Chair, and was a graduate of the Leadership Norman Class of 2014. Michael enjoys traveling and is the current President of the Mountain Ridge Council of property owners in Fairfield Bay, Arkansas. Michael continues to support community non-profits and believes everyone working together can build a better community.
